Henry Angell – James

Henry joined Graftongate in August 2004, after almost 20 years at the leading commercial surveyors, Savills. He headed the Industrial team at Savills, set up the mixed use development team, was on the commercial board for nine years and the Commercial Executive for 5 years. He was heavily involved in the growth of the overall business worldwide, including travelling in Europe, Asia, and a six month secondment to the USA.

Henry’s expertise in the commercial sector has encompassed a full range of corporate occupational strategies, new development schemes, planning and funding.

Henry produces professional theatre in his spare time through “Berwick House Productions”, which he formed in 2004. Its objective is to create new opportunities for people, writers, performers, directors and new audiences. To date he has produced five plays in London; one in Liverpool and a series of events in Shropshire.

Colin Beasley

Director

Following five years in Agency, Colin commenced his career in Property Development with Milton Keynes Corporation in 1984. In 1988 he joined Milton Keynes based Queensmoat properties as Director specialising in office and industrial developments in the region.

In 1993, with six other directors, Colin formed Kingspark Developments Limited. Within three years, Kingspark had established itself as the leading Distribution Warehouse Developer in the UK.

Colin formed Graftongate in December 2000. Between 1993 and 2000, Colin was responsible for numerous bespoke Warehouse and Distribution Centres pre-let or pre-sold to end users.

Lee Maytum

Investment Director

Lee Maytum joined Graftongate in 2008 with a view to expanding Graftongate’s investment portfolio and developing the asset management arm of the business. Lee has fifteen years property investment and asset management experience with an in depth knowledge of all sectors of the property market.

Prior to joining Graftongate, Lee was a Director of Kenmore Investments Ltd where he was head of London responsible for the sourcing, buying, managing and selling of investment deals. Lee was instrumental in two of Kenmore’s private equity deals and was a director of Bryanston Kenmore Leisure fund, established to purchase large caravan parks.

Before Kenmore, Lee was an Associate Director at Michael Elliot and Partners, a niche investment practice based in Central London.

Phil Silk

Director

Philip joined Graftongate in November 2004 following four years at the leasing industrial developer Prologis. For the preceding twelve years, Phil was at Jones Lang LaSalle where he led the Agency team in National Industrial and Development.

Whilst at Prologis, Phil led the southern development team, having responsibility for all acquisitions in development in the South of England. Recent projects include: Dartford Park, Dartford 270 acre regeneration scheme in the Thames Gateway, 1m sq ft distribution (including 700,000 sq ft to J Sainsbury) 800,000 sq ft offices, 65 acres residential Minoco Wharf, Silvertown 25 acres in the heart of Docklands. Mixed use redevelopment of former Shell wharf facility.

Phil Silk

In his spare time, Phil enjoys Salmon fishing, shooting, wine, sport and being outdoors generally, when not coaching the next generation of rugby stars at Claverdon RFC.
